Reproductive health has become a wide area that addresses complex issues of reproductive health needs of individuals as well as groups such as families, sexually active groups or potential groups i.e. adolescents or people with certain types of problems. Teaching reproductive health to students is a challenge because of its vastness and inter-disciplinary nature; it is at the crossroad between clinical and public health teaching. Most of the problems in reproductive health require skills and procedures that need to be performed to reach the desired outcomes. The construction of this module concentrates on the essential activities to manage a reproductive health problem rather than on providing comprehensive knowledge. Although the module is centered for regular midwifery students, it also gives a better sexual and reproductive health insight for all health science students. The module provides the essential minimum to perform a task and serves as a quick reference. Finally, the author would like to encourage instructors to utilize the module. Above all, students are expected to use this Reproductive Health module to serve their purpose.
