Matthew E. Burdette is rector of Saint Christopher's Episcopal Church in Dallas and holds a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen, having researched the theology of Robert W. Jenson and James H. Cone. Victor Lee Austin is the Theologian-in-Residence for the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and is the author of several books, including Losing Susan: Brain Disease, the Priest's Wife, and the God who Gives and Takes Away.
