The basic of soil and tillage, especially importance of Zero-tillage in rice wheat areas of the world is covered in this book and a model was developed for finding the suitable soils for zero-tillage wheat sowing in rice- wehat areas of the world.

Engr. Faheem Iqbal graduated from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, he received his MS in RS and GIS from NUST,Pakistan and Participated as YSSP, at IIASA, Austria. His main fields of Research are Agricultural and Environmental Engineering; GIS RS based modeling, Climatic variability and their impact on crop production.
