La Dra. Bat Zion Yemini es profesora titular del Levinsky College de Israel y ha sido directora del Departamento de Lengua. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen el estilo, el léxico y el lenguaje y el género. Ha publicado decenas de artículos y dos libros sobre las diferencias de género en la poesía hebrea moderna y sobre el lenguaje de la poesía entre el cielo y la tierra.
