The primary research question is as follows: How relevant is the implementation of crypto investment services for wealth managers and private Investors in European markets in relation to current financial regulations? There are three subordinate research questions: How relevant is the implementation of crypto asset investment services to the wealthy clients of banks in the European Union? How relevant is the implementation of crypto asset investment services to banks and asset managers serving wealthy clients in the European Union? How relevant is the implementation of crypto asset investment services from the perspective of financial authorities in the European Union? 244 different sources were consulted in this quantitative, descriptive, and explanatory literature analysis, including 34 official survey analyses with a cumulative total of 128,104 participants. Furthermore, a qualitative interview was conducted with an expert from a major German bank. In this master's thesis, a deductive approach was taken.
