Esthetics, phonetics and anterior teeth position are all significant factors for the selection of anterior denture teeth, which ultimately affect the entire tooth setup for a denture patient. However, for the edentulous patient with no pre-extraction records available, the choice of tooth size, mold and arrangement is difficult. So the dentist has to rely on his own clinical judgment, along with the patient for the esthetic preferences for tooth selection. This study was aimed at correlating the various dentofacial landmarks and Trubyte tooth indicator to determine the width of anterior teeth. The soft tissue parameters were recorded with the help of vernier caliper and and Trubyte Tooth Indicator was used to measure the dimensions of the maxillary central incisor. All the measurements were compared to determine if they relate & are clinically acceptable to use on edentulous patients. Maximum correlation between soft tissue landmarks and width on cast was observed for Inter commissural width and Trubyte tooth indicator, while minimum correlation was observed with sagittal cranial diameter.
