Jesse P. Ward grew up in rural Madison County, Kentucky. He received his undergraduate and master's degrees in education from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to being an educator, he has been a professional photographer. For the last fifteen years, he has worked in the area of public relations for the Madison County school system. This is his first novel.
