This book publishes a number of papers that were presented at GeoMEast, Sustainable Civil Infrastructures, an international congress held in Cairo, Egypt, in November 2019. A number of papers were presented about materials for infrastructure sustainability, and those are the papers published in this book. A unique group of chapters have been well-organized and handled by a group of international experts in order to be included in this book to discuss a timely topic with regard to the sustainable infrastructures.

Dr. Mohamed Farouk Shehata; PhD, MBA, MSC, PMP, CLAQ, ASQ CEO and Founder of the EHE-Consulting Group in Middle-East. He has more than 25 years' experience of many mega, large, and small projects in the Middle-East. He was the leader of the multidisciplinary engineering works, so he has gained experience in the architectural, master planning, urban planning, project management, project preparations, decision making, and value engineering of the projects. In addition to all previous manager works, he has a professional expertise in the Geotechnical, structural, and bridge engineering.
