This system shows the positive impact of engineering on the medical field. It also shows that the combination of electronics and information technology with the medical knowledge and expertise enables a remote physiological monitoring of a person's health. These technologies facilitate the implementation of patient monitoring and diagnostic system virtually anywhere.

Abd El Ghany se doctoró en 2010 en una tesis conjunta de la Universidad Alemana de El Cairo y la Universidad Estatal de Ohio. Fue ingeniero superior en la Agencia Espacial Nacional de Ucrania, EGYPTSAT-1. Recibió la beca postdoctoral AvH, Alemania. Es Ass. Prof. en GUC. Es autor de 40 artículos, 2 libros y 2 capítulos de libros.
