Contact problem, whether static or dynamic, is one of the most important problems in mechanical design as there is no machine does not include such as a phenomenon in it. However, uptil now contact problems are one of the most complicated problems in both understanding or handling. Contact problem, whether static or dynamic, is one of the most important problems in mechanical design as there is no machine does not include such as a phenomenon in it. However, uptil now contact problems are one of the most complicated problems in both understanding or handling. Therefore, a lot of means have been used to solve the problem to get a better understanding and numerical methods are the most commonly used in handling these problems for its generality and simplicity. In this work the dynamic contact problem has been studied under the effect of external random excitation through a proposed simulation model. The proposed model has been presented in details with its parts documented and tested. Then the model was used to solve some typical examples in dynamic literature to verify the validity of the model. Finite element method have the computational vehicle for this work.
