The Quranic verses of inheritance have put the basis for the Islamic rules of inheritance in a way that opens no door for manipulation by humans. Thus, each person gets his/her fair allotted share of the inheritance. Mistranslation of the verses of inheritance will lead to improper implementation of inheritance rules in the English-speaking communities. This study comes to shed some light on the issue of inheritance in Islam with reference to translation into English. It is hypothesized that some parts of the Quranic verses of inheritance have not been translated properly due to unawareness, on the part of translators, of the delicate meanings that these verses carry. Misinterpreting the Quranic verses of inheritance will definitely affect the rules of distributing the amount of inherited property among the heirs, a matter that necessitates revising the translations of these verses. Taking the Quranic interpretations into account in general by translators of the Noble Quran helpsto a great extent in avoiding any misunderstanding that might happen on the part of translators, then on the part of the English readers.
