Carolyn Washington has served in the field of education for more than 20 years. Washington holds a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Counseling and is a certified teacher, counselor and school principal who has committed her life to education. She believes that if educators spend time teaching prosocial skills, schools might readily be able to address many of the behavior challenges that exist amongst students and on campuses. Washington currently serves as Director of A Smart Consulting. She consults with school districts, coaches new and struggling teachers, provides parent and student trainings and facilitates discussions on school leadership. She is also a certified national trainer in the areas of classroom management and differentiated instructions. As part of Washington's lifelong commitment to make a difference in the field of education, she currently serves as adjunct professor with two higher education institutions, is enrolled in a doctoral program in organizational leadership and presents at local, state and national conferences.
