Seed being a living entity, deterioration beyond physiological maturity is inevitable and will be pronounced when seeds are stored under hostile conditions. This book deals with the possibility of using commonly available micronutrients and botanicals for seed hardening and macronutrients and micronutrients for seed pelleting to get the desired effect of withstanding drought and salinity during early phase of germination and seedling growth to help the resource poor dryland farmers to get higher seed yield.
