Autorenporträt
Veterinary surgeon, zoologist, children's TV host, and author — Dr. Jess French loves all animals, and she loves the natural world they live in, too. She thinks it is very important that we all work hard to protect the natural world, and she hopes that the wonderful children that read her books will be kind enough to educate the grown-ups they meet about animals, the environment, and what we can do to save them. Jess has a degree in Zoology from University College London, as well as degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nottingham. She is children's ambassador for the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and a patron of Norwich Science Festival. She lives with her family and pets in the countryside in Norfolk, England. Penelope Dullaghan grew up playing outside, swimming in lakes and drawing pictures. She still loves all those things today, and now it's her job to make pictures! When she's not working in her home studio, she's usually homeschooling her daughter (who wants to be an artist when she grows up, too), going camping in the woods or trying to get things to grow in her garden.
