Chef Wanda Wray graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in the Culinary Sciences and Culinary Arts program in Hyde Park, New York. Additionally, she is a graduate of the International Pastry and Desserts program at the School of Hospitality of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Chef Wray is certified in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety Manager Certification (FSP), and Human Food Preventive Controls (FSPCA) for industrial food production, ServSafe for Managers, and ServSafe for Employees for the restaurant industry. Wanda Wray is the author of Puerto Rico in Your Kitchen. She has been recognized with the Rector's Award in Culinary Sciences by the Culinary Institute of America of New York, the Award for Provost Culinary Science Award, Made in Puerto Rico Product Excellence, Business Success by the P.R. Senate. and First Businesswoman of the Future, Women's Business Institute.
