The concept is based on the international standards for internal control and the best practice of European countries.Providing a good structured and operational model, which will be of great help to the Government in running the country, in terms of redesigning their internal control environment, is the main purpose of the existence of the public internal financial control. This control should improve the control system in the public sector of the countries that aspire to join the EU. The model of public internal financial control is widely accepted and commonly used by many countries, including some countries outside the EU, such as the Republic of North Macedonia.
