Autorenporträt
Caroline grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and joined the Marines shortly after she graduated from Maury High School. She quickly appreciated the opportunity to serve her country in a very important way. She traveled across the United States, Okinawa, and Korea. She met her husband of 32 years, Brian, who was also a Marine, and they now call Louisiana home along with their dogs. They have two children, who are both married, and three grandsons. She also has reconnected with the daughter that she gave up for adoption prior to her marriage. Wanting to be a nurse, she attended Carteret Technical College in Morehead City, NC, became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1985, and became a Registered Nurse in 1996. She is especially fond of activities for veterans and unwed mothers. She loves the sound of the surf and wind chimes, enjoys motorcycle riding, and loves cooking, watching movies with her husband, reading books, and writing letters the old-fashioned way.
