Produktbeschreibung
Secondary education provides continuity and strengthens the formation begun in primary school, where the aim is to foster the full and comprehensive development of adolescents, the objects and subjects of education. In this sense, it seeks to jointly promote personal and social dimensions, particularly those that refer to ethical, religious, affective, attitudinal and intellectual aspects. By promoting generic or transversal competencies, the interests are directed to be developed in the students rather than in the teachers, therefore, the assignment by Didactics of Competencies, or by the so-called digitalization of teaching is the central point. The competency paradigm has dominated educational policy in teaching, learning and assessment in recent decades. In education, when talking about competency models, the proposals coincide in stating that it is about the acquisition and optimal application of knowledge, skills and attitudes. On this basis, we propose a Contrast Model that integrates the competencies of teachers and students, which can be adapted to Science Education in Costa Rican schools.
