Autorenporträt
After earning an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering, Fred Voorhorst has predominantly served in roles as a product or project manager, primarily within the innovation and startup domains. Throughout his professional journey, he navigated through projects in incredibly uncertain scenarios, often in situations where scope have been known to morph even before the ink had dried on the initial brief. Driven by his fascination for systems thinking and a particular appreciation for Russ Ackoff's ideas, he developed an approach that, at first glance, may seem like a blend of design thinking, risk management, and a strong focus on delivery, but is, in essence, fundamentally systemic.
