The strength of organizational energy is the extent to which a company has mobilized its emotional, mental, and behavioral potential in pursuit of its goals. Maintaining this energy is a crucial factor for organizational success. This book contains the results of a case study with four long-established cultural organizations. Each of them looks back on a history of success which was achieved through continuous high performance of the team within the respective organization. An analysis of the similarities between the cases leads to a better understanding of the interrelation between organizational and team energy as well as the drivers of energy. Building on these results, a model of organizational energy is developed. By combining it with best-practice examples of the research partners, propositions are drawn for cultural organizations and commercial companies on how to improve their organizational energy.
