Ronald M. Davidson, Ph.D. (1985) in Buddhist Studies, University of California Berkeley, is Professor of Religious Studies at Fairfield University. He has published on the history, literature and practice of the Buddhist tantras in India and Tibet, including Indian Esoteric Buddhism: A Social History of the Tantric Movement (2002) and Tibetan Renaissance: Tantric Buddhism in the Rebirth of Tibetan Culture (2005). Christian K. Wedemeyer, Ph.D. (1999) in Religion, Columbia University, is Assistant Professor of the History of Religions at the University of Chicago Divinity School. He is the author of Āryadeva's Lamp that Integrates the Practices: The Gradual Path of Vajrayāna Buddhism according to the Esoteric Community Noble Tradition (2006).
