Autorenporträt
Marcus has been developing professional PHP applications for over 3 years, and prior to that was developing web applications in ASP and ColdFusion for 6 years. Marcus currently serves as Chief Architect at Emma (http://www.myemma.com), where he oversees the efforts to continually refine and expand Emma's abilities. He is proud to be at the helm of a profitable PHP enterprise application, and thanks his stars for the chance to work with such a great team. Pre-Emma, Marcus was the Internet Systems Architect with Nashville-based Anode, a fine company for whom Marcus spearheaded a number of projects, including a unique product called Firesign Server, which lets companies use dynamic messages to communicate to audiences in public places. Not to be confused with a megaphone, which is also handy but not nearly as interesting. In his off time, Marcus has a lot of fun working on a framework for Pro PHP developers called CEP (http://www.sf.net/projects/cep/), making hip hop music and falling in love with his wife and their two boys on a daily basis.
