Semiha is a research scientist at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. After earning her bachelor's degree in physics, she received her master's in early childhood education, and is now getting her PhD in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. Her research closely examines positive identity development in the field of science. In addition to her research at Harvard University and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Semiha has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at conferences across the United States.
