Prince Abbey was born to King Abbey and Tela. He was conceived under rigorous conditions. Prince Abbey's mom was having an affair with the King. Tela is the wife of Oga. Other wise known as Kujo, Oga was the son of the palace's deceased spiritual advisor, Ofuri Oga. During the young man's time in the palace, he would spark up a relationship with the young lady servant, Tela Ofori. As time went on, the relationship would grow, and eventually, the two would get married. During their marriage, Oga was abusive verbally and physical to Tela. Tela and the king had a connection earlier on in there adolescent days in the palace, but due to the king's bloodline, he was not able to have a relationship with her. Due to Oga's abuse and neglect of her, she would often leave in the night and go see the king secretly in his quarters. One night, Tela was seen entering the king's quarters by the palace's second in command of security, Chief Oko. Chief Oko was an opportunist and was always looking for a chance to get rid of the king and inhabit the kingdom for himself. Knowing that Oga did not like the Abbey family, this was ammunition for him to feed Oga with. He would then travel to Afao Hills, a second home in the hills which Oga would stay often away from the palace. Chief Oko would inform Oga of the relationship. This was more fuel for Oga as he had witnessed, earlier during his time in the palace, the beheading of his father, Ofori Oga. From then he would have a deep resentment for the king and the Abbey family, so hearing this news just deepened Oga's anger. Eventually, King Abbey would get the common servant pregnant, and she would then have the baby under rigorous and tumultuous conditions. The night she would give birth was frantic. They were attacked by Oga and his goons of rockwarriors. Oga and his rockwarriors took her as hostage and tried to win her love back, but she was not giving into his advances. She would eventually get into a fight with Oga, leaving her battered, bruise, and unconscious. She was rushed into a vehicle by Lieutenant Yemoh and King Abbey.
