Autorenporträt
Tameeka Spates was born a shy identical twin, from the inner-city streets, raised in the rural south. She yearned to find her true identity and purpose. The journey throughout love and life lessons is the driving force behind her poetry. She credits her social work experience, her love for nature, and her love for people. Devotion and passion have helped, "A'Meek Spirit", the poetess to arise and inspire others through the painting of pictures with her words. She continues to touch lives through motivational speaking and is a fan favorite during Open Mic events.
