Preparation of new types of activated carbons have been carried out in this work from agriculture wastes (palm oil fronds, banana stalks and date stones) and will help to reduce abundant waste to the environment.The activated carbons prepared demonstrated valuable characteristics when compared with commercial TYPES.Using physiochemical activation method by combination of KOH-CO2 was highly effective to produce mesoporous AND high surface area activated carbons and homogeneous pore size distributions with the pores arranged in an array of honey-combed structures.
