The Valvigna industrial building encapsulates all these principles standing as a tangible example of an attempt to find a balance between architecture and nature. The publication illustrates Guido Canali's projects for Prada: Montevarchi (1999), Piancastagnaio (2000), Montegranaro (2001) and Valvigna (2017). Edited by Italo Lupi, the book includes contributions by Germano Celant, Claudia Conforti, Kurt W. Guido Canali, professor of Architectural Composition in Venice and Ferrara, has received multiple awards for his work, including: INARCH 1989/90, 91/92, 2007; Constructa Preis Hannover 92; the career Fritz Schumacher Preis 2004; Compasso d'Oro 2004; Dedalo 2007; Brick Award 2008; Piranesi Prix de Rome2011, for restoration; the career INARCH/ANCE award 2014; and the Brand & Landscape Award 2016. Italo Lupi is an internationally affirmed designer, and one of the world's best known Italian graphic designers.
