Bayya Subba Rao, completed both B.pharm and M.Pharm., is presently Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at MNR College of Pharmacy, Sangareddy, near Hyderabad. He has also obtained P.G. Diploma in Patents Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. He is currently pursuing research leading to Ph.D. He has morethan 10 years of experience in teaching/industry. He handled several critical reactions that are patentable and developed processes for many active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. Prof. Subbarao attended a number of conferences both national and international, relating to pharmaceuticals as well as intellectual property rights.
