The present book/study is an attempt to reduce the power loss and to improve the voltage profile on an existing 11 kV feeder by implementing different techniques using Mipower software. For performing the simulation work data of an existing 11 kV feeder (Aggarwal feeder) of industrial area Kapurthala, is considered. With the application of different techniques on this feeder it is observed that the power losses are reduced from 8.58% to 1.596% and voltage profile of the feeder is also improved.
