Histopath study showed increased epithelisation of wound granulating tissue and protective effect on architecture of beta cells. SDS- PAGE analysis of wound tissue shows different proteins expression compared to normal animals. Thus it indicates that Achyranthes aspera possesses potential as a wound healing agent and also have antidiabetic activity.
