The terrorist attack in the United States on September 11 2001 by people who claimed to have done it in the name of Islam, and the reaction in the United States has jeopardized the safety of innocent Muslims within the American Society. This resulted into the framing of Muslims as terrorists, barbaric and uncivilized, etc; which exposed them to vulnerabilities and further tarnished their image and resuscitated the old Prejudice against them popularly known as Islamophobia. This book provided an in-depth comparative analysis of pre and post 9/11 to see how the old phobia for muslims was tilted to a more negative dimension following 9/11. Also, the book analyzed the effects and consequences of such phobia on both muslims and non Muslims and suggested possible solution.
