Author Bio: Denice is a playwright and author of children's poetry and short stories. A native of Chicago, she has been writing since age twelve. Her work is inspired by the natural world and her deep faith. Her love for God and his Word was the catalyst for this first volume of Poetry through the "WORD". Denice, a teacher in the New Jersey public school system, holds a B.A. in Education from Rowan University, is a certified Teacher of Reading, a member of the International Reading Association and certified with the Literacy Volunteers of America. She is also a Vacation Bible School and Sunday School teacher.
