Kelita Almond hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Born in 1991, this young poet is a woman of many talents. She performs her poetry and does spoken word at various venues and events throughout Atlanta. She is a part of a poetry group known as The Word Play Poetry Ensemble, started by Patrick "Preacher Man" Duncan. Kelita's poetry has been featured on Black On Purpose TV and included in On My Grind Magazine. Publishing her very own book of poetry has been one of her dreams since she first began writing, and now her dream has finally come true! She has already started working on her second book, Poetic Transitions: Knowledge of Self, which is one that you definitely won't want to miss! She is no stranger to social media and she already has her own website offering free advice to those in need.
