Founded in 2004 by David Montalba, Montalba Architects is an international architecture firm with offices in both Los Angeles and Lausanne. Jonathan Bell writes about all aspects of contemporary design, focusing on architecture transport, and technology. His key interests are the interaction between the public city and private transport, the integration of new technology and the ever-changing relationships between branding, design, culture and society. He is the author, co-author and editor of 15 books, including The 21st Century House, The New Modern House: Redefining Functionalism, The Contemporary House, Todd Saunders: Architecture in Northern Landscapes and The Modern House. Jonathan currently is Editor-at-Large at Wallpaper* magazine, where he has been an editorial contributor for nearly two decades. He has also contributed to Conde Nast Traveller, Wired, and Esquire, amongst others. He lives in South London with his family.
