This book is about extraction of new compounds from the roots of Alhagi marourum and their application in medicine. Thirteen new compounds were isolated and characterized by spectroscopic and chemical studies. All these compounds were examined for their pharmacological and phytochemical activities. These compounds showed extremely good activity for the enlargement of ureter, resulting in the removal of kidney stones.

Autor

Mohammad Saadah Almarashdah, got his PhD from University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2007 in the field of natural products. He has translated four books related to chemistry from English to Arabic, which were published by King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Almarashdah has been teaching chemistry at King Saud University for over 30 years.
