This book is intended for engineering students taking their course in Renewable Energy Systems. It is also recommended for students preparing a capstone project where they need to understand, model, and specify photovoltaic systems. The book is primarily written for electrical engineering students. However, it can be used as a valuable reference for other engineering discipline involved in the renewable energy systems. This book comes out of the five years of author's experience in teaching Renewable Energy Systems at the Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad, Serbia. Some of presented outcomes and results have been obtained through the Reseach Project no. III 42009: 2011-2018 Integrated Energy Networks, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Serbia. The manuscript is in the form of compilation of articles in the field of photovoltaic systems, which the author published as an author or co-author in the period 2016-2017.

Dr Rade M. Ciric is professor on the Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad and associate professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia. His research interest is in power system analysis, renewable energy applications, power quality and engineering education.
