Sylvain Patri, Ph.D. (1992), Sorbonne-nouvelle University, Paris, honorary member of the Institut universitaire de France, is Professor of general linguistics at the University of Lyon-II. He has published monographs, text editions and many articles on comparative Indo-European linguistics, including L'alignement syntaxique dans les langues indo-européennes d'Anatolie (2007).
