El doctor M. Krishnamoorthy obtuvo su posgrado en Biociencias en 1974, de la Universidad de Mysore. Realizó sus estudios de doctorado en el área de Psicofisiología de Mamíferos. Actualmente se desempeña como profesor en el Departamento de Biociencias de la Universidad de Mangalore, India. Su área de investigación son la Biología del Cáncer y la Citogenética.
