Autorenporträt
Sandeep Dewan, a Master of Philosophy in Defense and Strategic Studies, is presently a Research Fellow at the Centre for Strategic Studies and Simulation at the United Service Institution of India, New Delhi. His fields of interest are Indo China relations, the Tibet dispute and matters maritime. He has published articles and papers on Maritime Domain Awareness, PLA Navy, Asia Pacific security issues and piracy in the Indian Ocean. He has presented papers on "India and the Asia Pacific Sea Lanes" at the 3rd Xiangshan Forum at Beijing and on "China's Quest for Seas Beyond its Shores" at the National Security Seminar at USI. He has also published papers in and has been a member coordinator of several projects undertaken by the USI namely, "Strategic Directions China," "India's Comprehensive National Power A Place in the World," and "Civilian Capacity in a Changing World Order."
