Sven Jacobsen ist seit 1999 freier Fotograf und arbeitet international. Seine Arbeiten wurden mit dem John Kobal Award und dem Reinhart Wolf Preis ausgezeichnet und in diversen Ausstellungen gezeigt, u. a. in der National Portrait Gallery London. "Personal Icons" ist sein sechstes Buch.
