Bernice Myers began writing and illustrating children's books in the mid-twentieth century, entertaining and educating children throughout a career that spanned over 100 books. Notable titles include Not THIS Bear! a Nancy Pearl Book Crush Rediscovery, and the science-based "All Around" book series. Dog Meets Dog is her first for Holiday House. She celebrated her 94th birthday the week she finished the art.
