La Dra. Kpélé Brah Hortense TANO es madre de un hijo. En 2002, tras obtener el bachillerato D, se matriculó en el INFAS (Institut National de Formation des Agents de la Santé). Comenzó su carrera profesional como enfermera en 2007. En 2013, se matriculó en sociología con opción medioambiental en la Universidad FHB, donde obtuvo el doctorado en 2023.
