Pronay Bala é PhD fellow of Crop Physiology and Ecology of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur, Bangladesh. Fez os seus B.Sc. Ag e M.S. em Agronomia na Universidade Agrícola do Bangladesh, Mymensingh, Bangladesh, em 1994 e 2002. Iniciou a sua carreira como Professor de Agricultura no Lalmia City College, Gopalganj.
