L'auteur est né en août 1988 à Asella, dans la zone d'Arsi, en Éthiopie. Elle est titulaire d'une licence et d'une maîtrise en sciences des cultures et en horticulture, respectivement. Depuis 2012, elle travaille comme maître de conférences au département d'horticulture de l'université de Wolaita Sodo.
