What difference can one man make when facing anarchy and treachery... how far will the shadowy dark ops thugs go to stop him in this suspenseful, action packed thriller? In a Montana courtroom, Herb Trebranch is on trial for his life, accused of murdering his wife. As his dramatic escape unfolds, we learn the truth behind the death of his beloved Louisa and the tangled web of lies and greed that threatens to bring the shattered world economy to its knees. How did this mild-mannered radio host bring the wrath of ten hells down on his head? The power of the penny. It was a deceptively simple idea, an idea just crazy enough to work, but it worked well enough to bring Trebranch to the attention of some very dangerous people... The Globalists and their lethal assassins. This politically-charged adventure story in the tradition of Louis L'Amour's LAST OF THE BREED will lead you on an incredible journey and have you on the edge of your seat -- except when you're on your feet cheering for the unstoppable PENNYMAN.

Del "Lonnie" Lonnquist is retired after a 40 year career in broadcasting, during which he worked as a broadcast journalist, AM Radio talk show host and a banjo playing entertainer/comedian. Interviewing office holders and politicians gave him a life long love for politics which is evident in his writing. He believes that freedom of speech and AM talk radio is under attack by those Liberal politicians who oppose this freedom of expression. Lonnie is married and has six children, 19 Grandchildren and a growing number of Great Grandchildren. He hopes they will all grow up knowing freedom of speech as he did.
