There is a strong co-relation between pediatric epilepsy and seizures with dental manifestations due to the prolonged use of Anti-epileptic drugs and poor oral hygiene. Therefore, other treatment modalities should be preferred such as a Ketogenic diet, that produces a state of ketosis without harming the oral hygiene.
