Most of the words came to the author when she was inspired while sitting in church, certainly giving us all Pause for Reflection.Janice M. Morse lives in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born an only child in Beaumont, Texas, to Scots-Irish parents who married late in life. She grew up in the '50s and '60s loving classical to rock and roll music, and reading. She wanted to learn music and play the piano, but never got a piano. Writing was also a dream, but it did not happen as a child. Only as an adult did she learn advanced music by playing hand bells, and she wrote for her church newsletter. "My Irish great-grandfather was a poet and my Scottish father wrote for his fraternal organization. I started writing poetry when my daughter was dating a young man who was obviously looking for answers for his own life. It just poured out on a piece of paper as if someone invisible was moving my hand. From then on, I realized I had the gift of poetry. All I had to do was listen for the inspiration."
