The therapeutic options are varied, ranging from simple medical and rehabilitative treatment to prosthetic replacement. The objective of this work is to report on the functional results of massive rotator cuff tears in our population, treated by reverse total shoulder prosthesis by reviewing the literature and illustrating clinical cases for didactic purposes.
