"Ceramic Engineering" is the one of the most important branch of engineering that deals with the creation of objects from inorganic & non-metallic materials. Thus, Ceramic Engineering includes purification of raw materials, production of chemical compounds and complete study of their structures. Ceramics are generally made by taking mixtures of clay, earthen elements, powders, and water and shaping them into desired forms. Once the ceramic has been shaped, it is fired in a high temperature oven known as a kiln. Often, ceramics are covered in decorative, waterproof, paint-like substances known as glazes.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ch Asha Immanuel Raju obtained his Ph.D (2012) from Andhra University. He is having 15 years of Teaching and Research Experience. He guided around 30 M.Tech degrees, 21 Ph.D degrees ¿ 07 (awarded) and 14 (ongoing). He published around 70 publications in National and International Journals. He presented around 94 Papers.
