Emiko Yamamoto is a graduate of Nagoya University of the Arts, where she first created and exhibited elaborate paper artworks. Her experience there sparked an abiding love of dramatic three-dimensional artworks made from paper. Emiko's creations have been featured in exhibitions throughout Japan, including at the Nagoya Airport, Marriott hotels and Toyota. She is continually developing new forms of expression with paper as the medium, including paper models featuring illustrations and large-scale paper installations. Emiko is president of the Paper Decoration Association in Japan, where she lives and gives paper crafting workshops.
